Pic above was taken when Dina was 4 months old... we were having an early dinner at Desa ParkCity's Secret Recipe restaurant... we usually put Dina in her car seat and put the car seat (with Dina in it) on the table or... as you can see... in the shopping trolley... hehe. Here, Dina is seen making a face at PP, to which she later started to cry because she wanted to be put to sleep... (pic taken on Monday sometime last year at 5.40pm after one of her doc's appointment)

So to prove that she really wanted to sleep... pics below will complete the story...

Those were the days of our tagging game - as in me and PP will take turns at home managing Dina on our own ... for almost 1 year i think ... Phew!

Thank God we have family to help us in the day.

Thank you , all of you, (you know who you are) for taking care of Dina when we couldnt :))
... especially during Dina's first six months.

Feelin under the weather lately...

Not been feelin well lately... demam and sore throat for the past 2 days... not been sleeping well too...dark circles under my eyes prove it... migraines... i know, i have been thinkin too much about work .. hahah... PP will not be happy to hear this one... "when you sleep, let go of everything..." - is what he says all the time...

i do admit that work is always there ... not doing anything but still letting your mind wander off to think about everything is doing something already and can be stressful...PP will not be happy to hear this one too :P

luckily i've got a boss who understands this... he always says "kerja memang ada, memang banyak but you got to find time to get away from it all to start afresh"...

i'm having a break .... a REAL VACATION!....

A Ride in the Cable Car

Had a weekend workshop in Genting Highlands... PP came to fetch me from the hotel on Sunday, we had lunch first before we decided to bring Dina for a ride on the Skyway Genting...

Oh yer... i usually bring Dina along with me when i have long workshops/training at hotels... I didnt bring her this time round but all the same i couldnt sleep that night... was it because dina was not sleeping next to me ???...hmm perhaps not... i rarely get a shut eye on the first night when staying at new places :(...

Anyways, here are some pics!! :)))

Birthday cake ideas...

Cake ideas for Emmil and YenYen's 1st birthday....

Hmmm....

they look too good to eat kan ??!!!

These are just ideas for Emmil and YenYen's mommies to think about in deciding the birthday cakes for their soon-to-be 1 year olds... and i'm not saying i can bake these :P...

these cakes take a looong time to prepare and use fondant icing.. yours truly tak khatam lagi bab2 fondant icing ni... but it not impossible to try...'wink'!... Mommies kena la sponsor bahan2 nyer kalu nak cam nie yerrr.... ;)

Dina, hospitalized.

Friday, 6 Feb 2009 at 4am-

Dina woke me up in the mid of the nite. Thot it was her usual wantings for mama milk. She was a bit restless tho... she said "nak atas nak atas" - meaning, nak turun bawah... so i slowly got out of bed and carried her... walked a bit in the room when suddenly she did a gagging sound and whoosh!..out came her muntah... OH DEAR!... she did it again seconds later so i quickly woke PP up and helped clean dina while i wipe my bedroom floor...tak byk , just 2 small puddles...

so we went down and watched a bit of cartoon and tubbies... then dina vomitted again... at abt 6am we went back to sleep... woke up and got ready for work at 8am and thot Dina should go see the doctor... PP did the job later..

12noon - got an sms from PP saying dina was going to be admitted to the hospital.. so i had to go on E.L for the rest of d day. Doc said it was due to some viral thing that was apparently the season for it....whatever lah..

::Dina was put on a drip at 4pm cos she vomitted about 8 times that day... shian baby mama sowang nie...::

Friday, 6 Feb 2009 at 6.30pm.
::PP sempat read to her her fav story book - Octopus and Friends - Dina senyum2 lagi tu! Dina strong girl, kan...::


Sat, 7 Feb 2009 at 4.20am
::Dina woke up and was purging 2-3 times that night/ morning... one nappy after another... here she is looking a bit drawn out n tired cos awakened by her constant purging and changing of nappies...::

Saturday was ok for dina as she wasnt vomitting anymore... only that she was purging for 8-10 times that day :((...sampai her bum was all red due to the contact with the purging matte, washings and nappy... doc later gave zinc dioxide to apply on her bottom so that her bum is protected against all that.. she was not eating that much and only relied on mama milk ... so i gave all the TLC that she needed ...shayanggg mama yerr...

Thanks to grandparents, uncles and aunties and cousins who thoughtfully came that day to visit Dina... :))

Sunday -
Felt as if Dina could be better off staying at home...she could eat and drink more milk than in the hospital...so i decided that we should be discharged from the hospital, tho she was still purging... but doc gave some medication so hope that she would be better... doc recommended for follow up checks if needed..

Monday, 9 feb. -
Stayed at home mostly cos of Dina... she was still recuperating...and still purging... but at least she was eating a bit and drinking nespray... Dina did a major poo poo while sitting on one of my throw pillows in the living room! Ewww...HEHEHE!!!... but...sigh... it's just one of those days i guess... :)

the after effect of pampering dina at the hospital was that she is clinging to me more than ever... even masa i was cooking lunch, she clung to my legs in the kitchen :) CUTE!... even refused to be picked up by Nor...hehe ;)

Hope Dina will be fully recovered...follow up check by Doc is on Tuesday..

Family Day CLUB26.

Last Saturday we went to Tiara Beach Resort, PD for the Family Day , organised by the Depts on Level 26 of the organisation where i work... hence called Family Day CLUB26.

Ok..we checked in around 5pm and straight away went back down to the pool area cos dina was excited after she saw what she saw from her bedroom window..

:: dina couldnt wait to go down... she was 'wow-ing' all the way! :) ::

well... when we got to the pool, dina insisted to be carried all the time... elemek... she was a lil bit petrified by the whole ambience at first but i guess it was the masses of water, loud kids and the concert that was on that day...

here we are trying to coax dina to play in the kiddy pool... to no avail...hehe..and this was on Saturday ...

Dina feeling icky when put on the sand...but changed her mind seconds later when dipped in the pool... this was already 6.30pm but lots of ppl/kids were still playing in the man-made beach pool...

on that saturday nite, we had bbq and karaoke... thot it would be fun to render some songs... cos the rule said everyone must sing!... so me and hubby sang 'Doa Buat Kekasih' and hubby sang to me Lionel Ritchie's Song 'Truly'... in front of all the CLUB26 staff... SIGHHHH!!... best nyer.... romantis sekali ... sampai ada org puji you pandai nyanyi la , ...hehe... (gamba tgh nyayi duet takde, kena tunggu staff i bagi...which i will post here)...

on Sunday we had Aerobics and Telematch... aerobics instructor was one of the directors...ntah haper2 ntah steps dia... LOL... but it was just for fun and everyone enjoyed it...
my group won 1st place for jalan ikat kaki (with spouses)..and i won 1st place for musical chair for adults...woohooo!...(actually i saw myself winning it :D)... PP joined with the men, playing some volley and tarik tali...

SO oklah...it was really good fun and well organised... looking forward to next year's!...

...errr...i think i might be pregnant then kot...**wink**...

...hmmm takpe... join jerr!

ps. good idea to have Dina's 2nd bday party here too! waddaya say, PP???
